THE FACTS:

• Sam is an Air Force Academy grad who has led over 200 real estate transactions including flips, creative financing, rental property, and note creation.

• Jaclyn is a Baylor University grad, Teach for America teacher (New Orleans ‘09-10), former full time musician (won female vocalist of the year at International Presentation of Performers in Los Angeles), former owner of Steele International - a Branding Agency (transitioned to pursue Beckon full time), and the host of the Self-Worth with Jaclyn Steele podcast. Jaclyn has been designing, design consulting, and flipping homes since 2015.

THE FUN:

• We met in 2008 on 6th Street in Austin, TX, and married in 2010 at a chapel on Keesler Air Force Base.

• We have one son, Roman Wilder, who was born on February 3rd, 2022. Being parents is the DELIGHT of our lives.

• We've lived in 11 states between us and together: Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, North Carolina, Mississippi, Idaho, California, Georgia, Colorado, Arizona.

• We view this company, Beckon, as our legacy. We have big dreams for it. We would love to create sustainable and ethical product lines, have a show, and eventually write a book about everything we are learning in business and in life.
